College Station Police release name in suspicious death

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone information to contact them.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — UPDATE Oct. 7, 2020:

College Station Police said 19-year-old Angie Crystal Saucedo was found dead in her apartment Tuesday.

According to police, the investigation in the suspicious death is still ongoing. They are asking anyone with any information to call 979-764-3600.

No other additional details have been released.

At around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday afternoon College Station Police got a call from an apartment complex at 2001 Holleman Drive West where a person was found dead.

Officers responded to the scene Tuesday afternoon and the investigation is ongoing. 

There were about 20 law enforcement officials on the scene. 

Police said they are not releasing specific information about the person that was found deceased, because they're waiting on next of kin to be told about this.

As of Tuesday afternoon, officials cannot confirm the cause of death. They said at this time, the public is not in danger.

"We can't speculate on that at this time. We don't have any specific reason that raises an alarm," said Public Information Officer Tristen Lopez with the College Station Police Department. "However, at this point the investigation is very much ongoing."

The College Station Police Department is asking anyone with information on what happened to call them at 979-775-TIPS.
