COLLEGE STATION, Texas - 5,000 students packed Reed Arena today to watch the Texas A&M women's basketball team duke it out with USC.

This is the fourth annual Aggie elementary school day at reed and it was the biggest year yet. More schools from across the Brazos Valley came out and each student received a ticket to go to another game in January.

Former Aggies were in the stands with the kids and eve passed out candy. Several teachers said this is the event all the students look forward to each year.

"They will come up to me on the playground and say they saw a player do this and look I can do it now, and they will show me on the court outside, they love it," 4th grade teacher Morgan Francis said.

Texas A&M didn't win the game however they did win over 5,000 students who felt apart of the 12th man for the day.
