Aggie Fans travel for March Madness

Some students at A&M are traveling to the NCAA Tournament to support the teams they have been cheering for all season.

March has been filled with madness.

And that is no exception for the men's and women's basketball teams at Texas A&M.

Program history has been made for both teams as they made the Sweet 16 for the first time, together.

While traveling to the games may be expensive, some students get to tag along to support the teams they've cheered for all season long.

The Texas A&M Yell Leaders are traveling to Los Angeles and Spokane to cheer on both men's and women's basketball.

The senior Yell Leaders are traveling with the men, while the junior Yell Leaders are traveling with the women.

Senior Yell Leader Cooper Cox said it has been great to see the basketball that has been played and that will continue to be played by both teams.

"Texas A&M basketball is in a good spot to do some big things," Cox said.

The men's team will play Michigan on Thursday and the women's team will play Notre Dame on Saturday.
