Originally scheduled to last one day, Wallis' hearing in a Travis County Courthouse will continue into Thursday.

Wallis is asking a judge to hold five leaders of BISD and the school district itself in contempt of court. He claims the five leaders either leaked sealed court documents or directed them to be leaked by a school district employee.

The documents were under seal at Wallis' request. But, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton ruled the documents were of public record earlier this year, far before they were leaked to local media.

The contempt of court charges could result in fines or jail time.
