COLLEGE STATION - A night to remember - prom night.
For students, prom night can be a stressful night to plan. There are dates, dinner, transportation and outfits.
One shop here in College Station is trying to ease the stress of prom.
Chrissy's Closet is offering free prom dresses and suit jackets for students at College Station ISD.
There are two pop-up shops, one at each high school, for students to come and look through the racks.
The dresses are donated by the community, and Chrissy Hester said without them, this wouldn't be possible.
"The community just gives so much," Hester said. "We ask and they give. This community is truly amazing."
In addition to the prom dresses and jackets, there are also "Prom Makeovers" that are available for the students on the day of prom.
"If any girl, or guy, wants a makeover the day of prom, they just sign up for a time slot," Mindy Casper, guidance counselor at A&M Consolidated said. "They come in they do all - hair, makeup, nails, makeup."
Prom for A&M Consolidated is April 28th and May 12th for College Station High School.
