COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Once a video spreads on the internet or social media, it may be hard for the person or company to recover their reputation.

Several companies like Pepsi, United Airlines have learned the hard way the potentially devastating effects of a video gone viral.
Their viral video has taken over the internet this week, a passenger on United Airlines getting pulled off the plane by police, several people filmed it meaning several people saw it.
"If something utterly wrong has happened with your brand, and you know its true, then its perfectly fine to say sorry because then people stop pointing fingers at you," Communications professor Akshaya Sreenivasan said.
