BRYAN, Texas - A new playground is finally open to the public in Bryan.

A few months ago, The Bridge Ministries had kids draw their dream play set in hopes it would eventually come to life. And after a few hours and 300 volunteers on Saturday, it did. Complete with a jungle gym, dragon slide, monkey bars are more. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas paid for 90% of the playground, the community paid for the rest.

"We would love to see birthday parties here, groups of kids coming here after to school to meet up and hang out. We even have an outside classroom," Bridge Ministries coordinator Kara Pinkerton said.

Kara also says, that they are not done bringing in more things. They will be adding soccer goals as well to add to the activities.
