BRYAN, Texas - Bryan High School's new baseball coach is coming home and he'll be wearing a Viking's uniform once again.
James Dillard played for Bryan high back in the 90's and grew up right here in the area. He has a wife and two little boys who are ready to suit up and help him out on game days.
Coach Dillard is used to winning, and has made the playoffs at all four of his coaching spots and he says he plans to keep up that winning tradition in Bryan.
"This will be easier here because theres a winning tradition here I cant remember the last time that they didn't go to the playoffs, so its going to be an easy transition and its just getting the guys on board with how I do things but its going to be an easy, easy transition," Coach Dillard said.
Coach Dillard said he hasn't met with any of the players yet, but in a few weeks it will already be time to get ready for school to begin and meet the team.
