Bombers Erupt For 10 Runs, Dobbins Dominant in Rout of Twins

The Bombers got an early second inning lead and never looked back as Hunter Dobbins went 6 strong innings for the Bombers surrendering two earned runs, allowing four hits, and six strikeouts. The Brazos Valley Bullpen had another strong outing as the tossed the final three frames without letting a Twins runner to score. 

The Bombers pushed four runs across in the 4th inning starting with back to back HBP’s to Hunter Coleman and Sam McElreath. Sartori singled to right to load the bases before Ridge Rogers drove the ball into the gap in left center to score two runs. That would be followed by a walk, a HBP, and a ground out that scored a runner from third to plate four for the inning. 

The Twins tried to mount a comeback in the 6th as the had three singles and a sac fly to score two to cut into the lead. Dobbins worked a ground ball to end the Twins threat. The Bombers came back in the bottom half and answered after a McElreath double to left that was followed by a deep shot to left from future Texas A&M Aggie Logan Sartori that ended the scoring for the night as the Bombers coasted to a 10-3 victory over the Texarkana Twins.
