Texas A&M Defensive Lineman arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- A&M Defensive Lineman Zaycoven Henderson was arrested early Sunday morning for threatening to kill a group of people, and pointing a rifle at them.

College Station Police responded to the deadly conduct call around 2:27 Sunday morning, at the Campus Village Apartments on Harvey Mitchell Parkway. When they arrived, Henderson and another man were seen driving away from the complex.

Henderson also allegedly dumped the gun in a wooded area near the apartments. Officers found a gun in that area that matched the victim's description.

Police caught up with the suspect vehicle and arrested Henderson for three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of possession of marijuana.

The driver of the car, 24 year old Terry Lechler Florez, Jr. was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
