Blinn Moves to 3-0 With Offensive Explosion Versus Lone Star-Tomball

Blinn had five players in double digits, led by Kae’ron Baker with 16 points, and followed by Fred Tottenham with 13.

BRENHAM- The Blinn College men’s basketball team used an explosive offense to defeat Lone Star College-Tomball, 103-66, on Wednesday night in the P.E. Building to remain undefeated.

“Our guys competed and played hard the whole game,” said Scott Schumacher, Blinn head coach. “We guarded and rebounded and that led to a lot of easier baskets for the win.”

Blinn had five players in double digits, led by Kae’ron Baker with 16 points, and followed by Fred Tottenham with 13 and Curtlon Wesley with 12. Gianni Ford chipped in 11 points and DJ Johnson came up with 10, while Babacar Cisse finished with nine.

The Buccaneers built an early 50-25 lead in the first half, before putting up 53 points in the second half to claim a 103-66 victory.

Blinn holds a 3-0 record, and will continue non-conference play against Victory College on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. in the Buccaneers first away game.
