Aggies mourn loss of student killed in crash

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Members of the Greek community at Texas A&M are mourning one of their own.

Caroline Killian, 21, died Monday after being hit at the intersection of Holleman and Harvey Mitchell parkway.

Killian was set to begin her senior year in the fall, having held several leadership roles within the Greek community on and off campus.

Several students are stopping at the Delta Gamma house to drop off flowers or letters for Killian and her family.

"When I was stressed out, this year I had a lot of things I was going through and she was right next to me for. She is a huge support system for a lot of people," Kenny Dao said.

The President of DG sat down with KAGS on Wednesday to talk about how she will remember her sorority sister.

"Aggie Greeks have a motto that say you're an Aggie first and Greek second and that explains CK to a T," Natalie Irwin said.

Members of the community are now coming together with a petition to help fixed that intersection because so many accidents have happened in that area. If you would like to sign the petition please visit here.
