The holiday season is upon us again, however, it wouldn't be Christmas without some carols and a feast of delicious food.
That is exactly what you will get when the Bryan High Choir presents the 34th Annual Feast Of Carols.
The performance will be held in the Commons on the Blue Campus of Bryan High School.
Feast of Carols is a night of grand entertainment that includes a musical performance of holiday songs as well as a full course meal served by choir members elegantly dressed in their renaissance attire.
Guests are formally announced as they descend the stairs into the grand dining room.
For dinner, the guests are served a delicious banquet of baked chicken, fresh garlic green beans, loaded potato soup, bread, cheese, grapes, wassail, and dessert.
Feast of Carols was started by John Hornbeck and Julie Birkner in 1983 as a way to share the beauty of choral music with our community in a unique and special way. The majority of the proceeds from this event go directly to Bryan High School Choir Senior scholarships.
"The holidays are such an important and joyous time,” said Alex Medlock, Bryan High School Choir Director.
“Feast of Carols gives the Bryan High Choir the opportunity to help usher in the spirit of the holiday season for our community."
As an added bonus, this year’s performance is sponsored by CHI St. Joseph's Health.
Feast of Carols offers four nights to catch the performance. Thursday December 7th, Friday December 8th, Saturday December 9th, and Monday December 11th.
The show will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and reservations do go quickly.
