Kids around town recieve free meal during summer

"When school is out, they might not know where their next meal is coming from so with the food program is so we can still feed them Monday through Friday breakfast and lunch and that helps out a lot of familes," says Diane Dahm, Director of College Statio

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - South Knoll Elementary is one of the main locations for this years summer food program.

Kicking off today, with breakfast and lunch, they served over 100 students.
"The reason why this summer program exist is because there are so many kids that get two out of their three meals during the week at school," Diane Dahm, Director of Nutrition said.
Children who live in Bryan or any surrounding areas can go to these locations, you don't have to be from College Station.
"Ages from 1 to 18 we do not need to know their age, we don't need any proof of income we just need you to be a hungry child and we will be happy to provide you with a meal," Dahm said.
Meals started today and will be available all summer.
Locations are listed here:
South Knoll Elementary - Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Lunch 11:00 - 12:30
Lincoln Center                  -Lunch 11:30 - 12:30
