BRAZOS COUNTY, Tex. -- Matthew Brown was taken to the Brazos County Detention Center early Monday morning.
Brown had been on the run since May 30th, when he was named a person of interest in the death of Larry Goodman, Jr. Goodman was found dead at a home on Wilcox Lane, with a serious head wound.
The day after Goodman's death, police surrounded the Hyatt Place hotel on University Drive looking for Brown. After several hours of searching the hotel, they determined Brown was not inside.
According to the Brazos County Sheriff's office, Brown was taken into custody in the Dallas area Sunday, and taken back to Brazos County. He's being held in the Brazos County Detention Center on a charge of "Tamper/Fabricate Evidence". His bond is set at $100,000.
