Mothers Against Drunk Driving Holds Open House

Mothers Against Drunk Drivers hosts an open house to remind the community about the impact of drunk driving.

BRYAN, Texas -  Happening today and tomorrow, Mothers Against Drunk Driving is having a two day open house to help share their focus on "No More Victims" due to drunk drivers.

All community members are welcome to come and meet the MADD team, several police officers and even Sheriff Chris Kirk were in attendance today. Since MADD started in 1982 drunk driving deaths have been cut by 53 percent and over 350,000 lives have been saved.
The organization says it hosts the open house events to remind the community about why they are here.
"Our mission is to end drunk driving and drugged driving, support the victims in these crimes and prevent underage drinking, so there is a lot that falls under that and we are excited to have the community come out and help support us in our mission," Vicki Mercer Program Coordinator said.
If you missed todays open house, you can still head over to 307 South Main street in Bryan tomorrow as they will have a second open house from 3-5.
