Motion to Hold BISD in Contempt denied

Travis county judge ruled that she can not rule BISD in contempt of court.

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Motion to Hold BISD in Contempt of Court made by former BISD Superintendent, Tommy Wallis was denied.

Wallis had asked the Judge to fine BISD for allowing sealed court documents to be leaked to local media.

In the Judges ruling today, she stated that because she did not hold any individual School District leaders in contempt, she cannot legally hold the District itself in Contempt of Court.
