BRYAN, Texas -- Bryan police are searching for two suspects who fled the scene after a shooting Wednesday night.

According to police, six people were involved in the aggravated assault.  One of two men who showed up to the home on the 1300 block of Ursuline got into a physical altercation with a third man who lives at the home.

Another resident at the home, who was armed with a weapon, fired it, shooting a 20-year-old bystander.

Shortly after, police arrived to the scene of the incident, however the two men who originally arrived to the home were nowhere to be found.

The person who shot the bystander is cooperating with police in the investigation. Several witnesses have been interviewed as police piece information together.

No arrests or charges have been made at this time. Police have secured all weapons.

The 20-year-old man is in stable condition at CHI St. Joseph's Hospital.

BRYAN, Texas -- A 19-year-old is in serious condition after a shooting in Bryan.

Bryan police say while the shooting was intentional, the man hit was not the original target.

The shooting happened at 1304 Ursuline avenue just around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers say two men inside a home were arguing over a girl when someone pulled out a gun in the heat of the moment and the 19-year-old was accidentally shot.

"Everybody else is fine. There are witnesses that are being interviewed and there's a suspect that is not in custody but is also being interviewed at this time," Sergeant Cary Beason said.

Police say the men who did the shooting ran away from the house before they arrived.

At least one woman and two men were seen put in a police car.

The individuals from the house are cooperating with investigators.
