Both locations have been closed since flooding occurred in May. At least 200 people who have rented boxes at the offices, are now advised to travel to North Zulch to pick up their mail. Customers we spoke with today are fed up with the commute. "You have to drive ten miles up here and ten miles down," said Leola Rice, an Iola resident. "I'm on a fixed income and it costs money every time I drive down here. " USPS is asking customers to remain patient. They do not want to let anyone inside either building until they know it is safe. No timeline for either post office opening has been released. © 2017 KAGS-TV CONNECT TWEET LINKEDIN GOOGLE+ PINTEREST JOIN THE CONVERSATION To find out more about Facebook commenting please read the Conversation Guidelines and FAQs Leave a Comment TRENDING VIDEOS Construction begins on a new Ronald Mc Donald Family Room Free transgender clinic opens tomorrow Push for change: Allowing strollers in Boston Marathon Lane Closures coming to FM 2818 on Wednesday Christie Whitbeck finalist for BISD Superintendent Grimes County K9 officers get vest upgrade woman allegedly stabs father, bites mom 16-year-old charged with shooting parents Ways To Save For Thursday, March 9, 2017 More Stories TAMU student on a mission to spread Christmas joy to… Dec 13, 2017, 4:47 p.m. Iola community raising money for volunteer fire… Dec. 1, 2017, 9:10 p.m. Christmas wishes will soon come true for thousands… Dec 12, 2017, 9:16 p.m.
