Christopher Nunley is excited to become the Chief Meteorologist at KAGS and embraces the challenges of forecasting weather in the Brazos Valley. Not only does Christopher hope to accurately forecast the weather but he hopes to do so in a way that tells a compelling story. You can catch him at 6:00PM & 10:00PM on weekdays.
Christopher is a true Texan, who grew up on the north side of the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex, but grew up as a Sooner fan. Christopher studied meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, and received his M.S. & Ph.D from Mississippi State University in Applied Meteorology and Earth & Atmospheric Science (Hail State). Christopher also taught meteorology and climatology courses at MSU for four years and has published research in the field. He is a TRUE weather nerd! Christopher has always loved meteorology and science, and interestingly enough, he is a huge college sports fan; everything from softball to football (he supports OU and MSU in every sport)!
While not working or conducting research, Christopher loves to spend time outside. He grew up hunting and camping, and enjoys to hit the trails with his son & best friend (Cash). Cash is Christopher's dog whom he absolutely spoils. It is quite possible you may catch Christopher and Cash around Bryan-College Station. Christopher joins us from the CBS affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
