Justin Woodard joined KAGS in May of 2018 and is thrilled to cover sports in the Brazos Valley. Justin has over seven years of experience, having made three other stops in Texas.
A Dallas native, he started his broadcasting career in San Angelo and most recently spent over four years in Tyler. While at KLTV in East Texas, Justin was lucky enough to attend Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, CA and all their home games. (We won’t talk about how many playoff games Dallas won.) In addition, he covered numerous high school state championships and local colleges.
Justin earned a degree in Journalism from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama in 2010. While in college, he did two internships at KTVT when he was back home in Dallas during the summer.
An avid college sports fan, Justin is excited to be in Bryan/College Station and cover all things Texas A&M and the SEC. He also has a soft spot for high school athletics and loves telling stories on up and coming stars.
