Texas Motor Press Association hosts off-road vehicle testing in Bryan

The vehicles used are some of the latest produced by several automotive companies.

BRYAN, Texas — The Texas Motor Press Association hosted journalists and content creators at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch on Tuesday.

The organization gave people the opportunity to test some of the newest and latest off-road vehicles. Some of those vehicles included:

  • Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro
  • Hyundai Palisade
  • Mazda CX-50
  • RAM TRX
  • Jeep Wrangler 4-XE
  • Jeep Gladiator
  • Cobb Tuning Ford Raptor
  • Hennessey Velosa Raptor Ford Bronco
  • Hennessey Mammoth RAM TRX

Organizers say they regularly have hosted off-road testing events in the Huntsville area, but chose to come to the Bryan-College Station area because of the ranch in the area.

Alan Gell, the Chairman of the Board of the group, said he was excited to see the details in the vehicles and come to the ranch to test them out.

"This [property] is nice enough so that we don't wreck the vehicles which is not our intent. We test drive it so we can relay what's good and bad to our listeners and followers," said Gell.

Gell encourages those looking for a vehicle to consider these off-road models before making a final purchase.
