UPDATE: Two people found dead in College Station subdivision apparently shot one another, police say

College Station Police said they are not searching for any other suspects in this case.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — UPDATE: July 2, 2020

College Station Police said the two people who were found dead at a home in the Creek Meadows Subdivision apparently died in a shootout with one another.

The two men who were killed have been identified as James Chambers,65 and Michael Rendon, 35. Investigators said the shooting happened between family members at the home of another family member.

A shooting was reported at the Creek Meadows Subdivision in the 4200 block of Cedar Creek Wednesday afternoon. 

Emergency personnel found two people dead when they arrived.
