Students bring out all the bells and whistles to celebrate 100 days of school

Kindergartners marched around the school for its annual 100 Days of School parade on Monday.

BRYAN, Texas — Students at Crockett Elementary in Bryan are celebrating 100 days of learning and making  sure the rest of the school knew.

Kindergartners marched around the school for its annual 100 Days of School parade on Monday. To make things more fun and festive, the students dressed up as the elderly.

"We work really hard to count up to 100 each year and so we celebrate that we've gotten to that point," said Megan Rios-Paterson, a kindergarten teacher.

The rest of the grades at Crockett Elementary filled the halls to honor their classmates.

"I think that is what so great about Crockett is that as a whole school everybody celebrates everybody else and everybody celebrates everybody's accomplishments," said Dalene Anderson, a kindergarten teacher.
