COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Teams of police officers and emergency personnel from the Brazos Valley and beyond fired up their grills Friday afternoon to prepare for their Annual First Responders Cook-off on Saturday.
Their barbecue skills will be judged by the public to benefit the Brazos County first Responders benevolence fund, a cause close to the hearts of those competing.
The family-friendly event will start around 10 a.m. Saturday, and is open to the public.
A train will be available for children who attend.
