Aggie football looks to snap Starkville losing streak

In its last two trips to Starkville, Mississippi in 2014 and 2016, the Texas A&M Football team left College Station ranked in the top 10 in the country. The Aggies aren't quite that high this go around, they are number 16 to be exact. But let's just say the Aggies don't want history to repeat itself. In 2014, A&M heard the sound of the cowbells early and often and lost 48-31. Two years later, the Aggies left broke from Stark Vegas 35-28.

I realize this team is led by head coach Jimbo Fisher and there is a different mentality. But there is something about Starkville that hasn't set well with A&M.

At 5 and 2 overall, the Aggies can still finish as high as second in the SEC West, and they know a strong finish to the season starts with snapping a two-game losing skid both in the Magnola State and to the Bulldogs.
