BRYAN, Texas —
The Brazos County Democratic Party hosted a vigil to end immigration abuse this evening.
The event was part of a broader event, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps.
Thousands of people worldwide could participate in the peaceful protest, as they hoped to shed light on the abuse of thousands of immigrants nationwide.
Key events were planned in El Paso, Texas, where hundreds of migrants are being detained in reported inhumane conditions.
The protest in Bryan took place from 8:30pm to 9:30pm in front of the Brazos County Courthouse.
Men, women, and children of all ages partook in the event as they held home-made signs, candles, and had friendly conversations with their fellow advocates.
