City of Bryan providing 1,000 free drive-thru lunches

In an effort to support both small businesses and residents in our community, the City of Bryan is hosting a free drive-thru lunch event on Friday, April 17.

BRYAN, Texas — COVID-19 has affected small businesses and the community of Bryan alike. In an effort to support both, the City of Bryan is hosting its second free drive-thru lunch event.

On Friday, April 17, starting at 11:30 a.m., 1,000 meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. 

The event is drive-thru only, and those wishing to pick up a meal must remain in their vehicle. Up to two individually packaged meals will be provided to each vehicle. 

Meals are from Bryan restaurants, including All the Kings Men, Café Capri, Casa Rodriguez, Chicken Oil Company, Madden's and Ronin Farm & Restaurant. 

The event will be held in the parking lot of the Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive. Gates will open at 11 a.m., and vehicles should enter from Briarcrest Drive and follow directions.
