College Station ISD's SchoolMessenger allows the district to deliver important information via SMS text messaging.
The district will only use the service to provide timely and relevant information for emergency situations as well as send messages out to test the service is working properly a few times a year.
In order to participate in the new service, follow the steps below. The process should only take a few seconds to complete.
Step 1: Make sure that CSISD has your wireless number in their student information database. If you gave CSISD your wireless number in the registration process they have it. If not, please call your school and provide them with that information.
Step 2: Simply text “yes” to the number 67587.
Step 3: You will know you were successful, if you receive a reply message from SchoolMessenger.
CSISD does not charge for the service but will not pay for text message charges that may be incurred fr sending or receiving text messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
