CSISD hires Grimes as new principal at College View High School

Grimes returns to CSISD as new principal at College View High School.

Huntsville High School principal Justin Grimes will leave his post to serve as the new principal for College View High School, the College Station school district announced Friday.

Grimes has served as Huntsville High's principal for two years and will begin his post in the College Station school district at the end of this school year.

Superintendent Clark Ealy called Grimes a professional who engages with students and teachers and has a high expectations for those he works with.

"He will take charge at College View and will be a champion for the school and its students," Ealy said. "He has the ability to have others buy-in to the vision he casts, and I am excited to see College View flourish under his leadership."

Grimes is a 1996 graduate of A&M Consolidated High School, and served as an assistant principal at College Station High School from when it opened in 2012 to 2016.

Grimes earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2001 and a Masters of Education Administration from Sam Houston State University in 2008.

Grimes and his wife Breana have two children: Gracie, a freshman at College Station High School, and Callie a sixth grader at Pecan Trail Intermediate. Breana Grimes teaches fifth grade social studies at Pecan Trail.
