Hoping to end a two game losing streak to Mississippi State and earn its first victory in Starkville since 2012, the 16th ranked Texas A&M football team will also look for better results against Bulldog quarterback Nick Fitzgerald.

Over the past two years, again both victories by Mississippi State, Fitzgerald has accounted for over 630 total yards and seven touchdowns. Most of the now senior quarterbacks damage though has come on the ground.

At 6-5, 230 pounds, Fitzgerald packs a punch and bulled through the Aggie defense for 180 yards in 2016 and then over 100 yards a year ago.

Here's the good news, under new defensive coordinator Mike Elko, A&M is currently fourth in the nation at stopping the run. In addition, Fitzgerald is on the struggle bud and just threw four interceptions in last Saturday's 19 to 3 loss to LSU.
