The George Bush Library and Museum reopens
The George H.W Bush Library and Museum will be open Friday, December 7 at 9:30 am. There will also be free admission on December 7 and 8 from 9:30 am till 8 pm. Free admission is being offered so that members of the community can show their respect to George H.W Bush. Then on Sunday December 9th the museum’s hours and admission fees return to normal.
Saturday December 8
Youth Playhouse Build
Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity is holding its first Youth Playhouse Build from 9 am till 12pm at their warehouse, 509 S. Bryan Avenue in Bryan. The event aims to engage youth who normally are unable to volunteer on construction sites due to safety regulations. Playhouses will be given to families selected by partner organization, Project Unity.
Sunday December 9
Jingle on the Green
Kick off the holidays at Century Square from 1pm till 4pm with Jingle on the Green. Come out for free photos with Santa, Christmas music, special booths and activities form the Century Square tenants, a hot chocolate station as well as holiday performances. There will be no professional photographer for pictures with Santa so bring your own camera if you would like pictures with Santa.
