Dinner Under the Stars 2019

Saturday January 12 

Fishing’s Future: Family Angling

This is a free family event though registration is required to attend since space is limited. The program is 4-6 hours to teach the basics of fishing. It is asked that you bring a lunch, water, bug spray, and anything else to might need in the outdoors. Fishing gear and bait will be provided during fishing time. If you have your own gear, please bring. Persons 17 years and older must have a valid fishing license is you are going to fish. This will be catch and release. TAMU Insect Collection Open House

The event will be held on Saturday, January 12th starting at 9 am. As in recent years, the entire day will be spent at the Minnie Belle Heep Building (a.k.a., “the  Heep Center”). Meeting areas will be available on the 2nd floor of the atrium adjacent to the TAMU Insect Collection room (Room 216). The atrium meeting areas and the Texas A&M University Insect Collection will be open for the remainder of the afternoon. Parking will be available in lot no. 67 on the east side of the building and no special permit is required for parking on Saturday.

Sunday January 13 

OM Grown Yoga- A Weekend of Workshops with Alexandria Crow

We will use some of the most common issues teachers and practitioners today face as starting points. Participants will be offered techniques to work through solving these issues that are clear, methodical and sequential. Teachers and students can take the framework to continually use and grow from and they will be able to apply it to any situation in the future.
