Court records reveal some of the personal history of the man who killed dozens of people at an Orlando nightclub.

In 2006, name change documents show Omar Mateen, 29, worked at various stores in Fort Pierce and Saint Lucie, which include GNC, Hollister, Gold's Gym, Nutrition World, Walgreens, Chick-fil-A, Circuit City and grocery store Publix.

The national security firm, G4S confirmed Mateen most recently worked for the company as a security guard in the Fort Pierce area at a gated community for senior citizens.

Mateen also indicated he attended Indian River State College in 2006 and graduated from the Martin County Adult Vocational School in 2003

Mateen changed his name from Omar Mir Siddique to Omar Mir Sedsique Mateen, documents show.

He listed his birth place in New Hyde Park, New York.

Divorce records show he filed for divorce in 2011 from Sitora Yusufiy. They were married in April of 2009 and separated in January of 2010.

At the time, Mateen indicated he earned a monthly income of $1,600 as a security guard for G4S.
