BRYAN, Texas — Update 3/13 at 12:06pm: 

BPD arrested another man in connection with this incident.

Gaspar Salas, 27, turned himself in to police and is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Police say he struck Joe Ruiz with a beer bottle just before Ruiz left the bar, allegedly striking patrons with his car.

Bryan Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a weekend bar fight that authorities say left five people injured, as a fleeing car struck pedestrians leaving the scene. 

Joe Ruiz, 33, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was arrested near the Bryan Police Station, Tuesday, without incident, according to police. 

The incident occurred at roughly 2:15am on Saturday morning. Police responded to Bar 69 on North Bryan Ave and found five pedestrians that were struck by a car. According to police, a fight broke out, injuring one patron. That individual then left the bar, striking the pedestrians and a truck while leaving. 

Two victims were taken to CHI St Joseph Hospital and are stable. 

Ruiz was booked into the Brazos County Jail and released on a combined $50,000 bond.
