COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Up at the professional level, we are in a holding pattern in regards to when games and events will resume due to Coronavirus.
On the PGA Tour, all tournaments including The Masters and PGA Championship have been cancelled or postponed through May 17th.
The first event that may happen once the suspended season resumes is the Colonial Tournament in Fort Worth.
That would be pretty cool because its a home event basically for Aggie product Ryan Palmer who lives in the DFW Metroplex.
In the meantime, Palmer is stepping up big time by donating $20,000 to charities being affected by the cancelled golf tournaments, specifically the ones that Palmer was committed to play in.
The four-time PGA Tour winner was nice enough to FaceTime sports director Justin Woodard on Monday afternoon to talk about contributing to this special cause.
And considering the Aggie was two Top 10 finishes already for the 2020 season, he's itching to get back on the course in a competitive setting.
