COLLEGE STATION, Texas — On the heels of a thrilling walk-off victory over host West Virginia in the Sunday afternoon elimination game, the No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies had their season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to the Duke Blue Devils in NCAA Regional action at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Sophomore southpaw Chandler Jozwiak (4-5) was saddled with the loss despite putting in a yeoman’s effort on the mound. He recorded career-highs with 6.2 innings pitched and 12 strikeouts. He yielded four runs on eight hits and one walk. Jake Nelson closed out the game with 1.1 scoreless frames, scattering one hit and one walk while striking out one.

Bryce Blaum paced the Aggies at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Cam Blake was 2-for-4 and Hunter Coleman drew two walks and knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly.

The Aggies ended the season with a 39-23-1 record and made their school-record 13th consecutive NCAA Regional appearance, the third-longest active string in the country.

Texas A&M had four players named to the Morgantown Regional All-Tournament Team, including Hunter Coleman, Bryce Blaum, Braden Shewmake and Logan Foster.

B1 | With two outs, Matt Mervis singled to right, Michael Rothenberg drew a five pitch walk and Kyle Gallagher hit a 1-0 pitch into rightfield bullpen for a three-run dinger. Duke 3, A&M 0.

T3 | Blaum hit a leadoff double to leftfield and Cam Blake put a bunt single down to put runners on the corners. Hunter Coleman plated Blaum with a sacrifice fly. Duke 3, A&M 1.

B3 | Kennie Taylor started the frame with a bunt single down the third base line and with one out he moved to second on a balk. Gallagher plated Taylor with a two-out double. Duke 4, A&M 1.
