COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A state championship, five district titles, and almost 190 wins. That is what A&M graduate Scott Holder accomplished in seven years as the head baseball coach at College Station High School.

Holder moved onto lead Prosper, and left big shoes to fill. The good news though, the Cougars have hired a replacement very familiar with all of the programs success.

An assistant on the 2014 state title team, Chris Litton has been named College Station's new head man. After his time with the Cougars, Litton made stops at Bellville and Livingston.

Meanwhile, Brenham has hired alum Chase Wheaton to take over its baseball program. This is Wheaton's second stint with the Cubs after leading them from 2010 to 2015.
