COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Since arriving at Texas a&M in January of 2016, athletic director Scott Woodward has done a great job of getting big time coaches to come to College Station.
Jimbo Fisher, Buzz Williams, and Andrea Gaston are at the top of the list. Now, the Aggies will soon know what it feels like to lose one of their own.
According to multiple reports, Woodward has signed on to become LSU's next athletic director. Tigers AD Joe Alleva stepped down from his position on Wednesday afternoon, and apparently it didn't take the university anytime to find Allev'a replacement.
A Baton Rouge native and LSU graduate, Woodward is headed back home.
This news no doubt lights a fire under the A&M and LSU rivalry.
