Bob's Forecast: Mid-90s temperatures remain

Heat index continues to be an issue

BRYAN, Texas — Showers have been generally south and west of the Brazos Valley today with a few isolated showers near Somerville and Brenham.

The Bryan and College Station area has missed out on the rain so far this week, but there is still a chance for some rain Thursday and Friday as an upper-level disturbance passes to our north.

By the weekend, high pressure aloft builds in from the east shutting down rain chances and heating temperatures back up to near average.  Highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat indices near 108 will be possible beginning this weekend and continuing next week.
