BRYAN, Texas — We will round out the work week with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies over the Brazos Valley. More sunshine will push temperatures up to the lower 90s on Friday.
Rain chances return over the weekend as a weak upper-level low develops over the region. We are not expecting a washout of a weekend, just widely scattered showers or thunderstorms mainly during the afternoon hours.
The late summer heat will continue early next week until a cold front arrives on Wednesday, which is perfect timing since that's the first day of fall.
Following the front, slightly cooler and much drier air should be here for the second half of the week.
