SHOWERS TO START THE WEEKEND...SUNSHINE PEEKS OUT ON SUNDAY...

Showers will continue through Saturday morning as an upper level disturbance moves across the region, but drier weather is in store Sunday. A cold front will move across the Brazos Valley Saturday ushering in drier air, and that should lead to clouds giving way to sunshine on Sunday. Rain chances will drop off as well, but only for one day. Showers return to the area Monday and Tuesday as another overrunning pattern sets up.
