TROPICAL MOISTURE = HIGHER RAIN CHANCES....

An upper level trough laden with tropical moisture is working into South Texas from the Gulf of Mexico. This system will produce heavy rainfall amounts along the coast with more moderate amounts this far inland. However, the Brazos Valley is still likely to see showers and thunderstorms through mid-week with rainfall totals of 3 inches or more. High pressure will rebuild toward the end of the work week causing lower rain chances and hotter temperatures by the weekend.
