Rain chances drop as temps ramp up

HOUSTON — After the strong storms moved through last night rain chances will continue to drop and temperatures will ramp up through the weekend.

Once the rain chances move out temperatures will ramp up next week in to the 90s. Once the 90s move in temperatures not expected to drop. First week of June will be HOT.

Some incredible video from the storms Thursday afternoon and evening below. 

Waterspouts are tornado occurring over the water. They are relatively weak but potentially dangerous, especially if they move onto land.

Here's another one, shot by Roger Traugott in San Leon.

Luckily, the waterspouts seen Thursday don't appear to be going towards that direction. They are moving southeast, away from land, so nothing to worry about.
