COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Winter-like temperatures are in the forecast as we move into December. A reinforcing shot of cold air will moved into Texas, which will deliver the first widespread freeze to central & southern parts of the state. Temperatures will fall into the 20s & 30s by Tuesday morning.
This freeze will last for several hours so make sure you protect the pets, pipes, and plants. Due to the expected freezing temperatures, a Freeze Warning has been issued for a large part of central & southern Texas, including all of the Brazos Valley.
Another shot of cold air will move into Texas to end the week, keeping the winter-like temperatures around, and delivering another freeze!
