FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — Fort Cavazos and the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center have welcomed their first baby of the new year.
The Fort Cavazos Media Center announced that baby Chance Lee Davis was born at 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 at the Medical Center. Davis reportedly weighed six pounds, two ounces and was 19 inches long.
Davis was born to parents Alexa and Douglas, according to the Media Center, who are both veterans.
Fort Cavazos said the couple are looking forward to "companionship as a family and seeing Chance and sister Emery, 20 months, grow up together and form the brother and sister bond."
