BELTON, Texas — A Belton salon is offering a fresh cut with a fresh twist this February.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, Alter Salon will offer "Pay What You Can" haircuts to Central Texans.
All proceeds from the special will reportedly be donated towards providing meals to homebound seniors in Belton through Meals on Wheels.
To schedule an appointment, message Alter Salon on Facebook or Instagram, or call 254-939-2031. Online booking will not be available for the event.
All appointments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis with limited spots. The salon's cancellation fees and policies are waived for the event, but anyone who needs to cancel is asked to do so 24 hours in advance to avoid depriving someone else of an opportunity to participate, said the salon.
Payment will not be discussed at any point, according to the salon, but someone will be at the front desk where customers will be able to pay. Alter said they will accept cash, credit and debit cards and Apple Pay transactions.
