Bryan Police arrest one in Tuesday morning shooting investigation

Stephanie Arevalo, 34, was arrested and charged for Aggravated Assault/Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon.

BRYAN, Texas — A Bryan woman is in custody following a shooting investigation Tuesday morning, according to a release from Bryan PD.

Around 7:04 a.m., police were notified that a victim had been shot in the 4500 block of Woodbend Drive. Medical attention was given, and the victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

Stephanie Arevalo, 34, was arrested for Aggravated Assault/Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon. Police say the incident appears to be isolated and that there is no immediate threat to the public.
