Texas A&M Police looking to identify man in attempted sexual assault case

The man reportedly entered a dorm room in Mosher Hall on around 5 a.m. and threatened to sexually assault a victim. He took the victim's money before vanishing.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M Police are looking to find a man responsible for an attempted sexual assault on campus.

The attempted assault took place in Mosher Hall around 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 14. That morning, police say a man described as thin and in his 20s entered a dorm room and threatened an individual with a weapon, claiming he would sexually assault her.

According to TAMU PD, the victim kicked the suspect and he left the room. After the incident, the victim reported that her money was missing.

While the identity of the suspect isn't known, according to police, he was described as having short black hair, wearing light colored jeans and a black hoodie and black ball cap.
