U.S Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assist Valley Mill Police Department in arrest of suspect

Maikel Alpizer Espinosa was wanted for his alleged involvement in a major traffic crash that occurred on Sept. 22nd.

VALLEY MILLS, Texas — Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested a man on Nov.2, who was charged with killing a motorist during a traffic crash.

According to officials, Maikel Alpizer Espinosa, 44, a Cuban National residing in Houston TX, was wanted for his alleged involvement in a major traffic crash that occurred on Sept. 22nd on State Hwy 6, resulting in the death of a motorist. 

The Valley Mills Police Department asked for the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Western District of Texas Lone Star Fugitive Task Force located in Waco to locate and arrest Espinosa.

According to officials, The Waco-based Task Force coordinated the arrest with the U.S. Marshals Southern District's Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and arrested Espinosa without incident at his residence in Houston.

Espinosa was transported and booked into the Fort Bend County County Jail where he will await transfer back to McLennan County to face judicial proceedings.
