ARLINGTON, Texas — University of Texas at Arlington police have issued an all clear regarding multiple bomb threats Monday evening on campus.
"Students may return. Resume normal operations," the tweet stated.
University of Texas at Arlington police had previously said in a tweet Monday evening that they are investigating multiple bomb threats on campus.
The tweet said to evacuate multiple buildings on campus: Meadow Run, Arlington Hall, West Hall and Arbor Oaks.
A university spokesperson sent WFAA a statement:
"Earlier this evening, the UT Arlington Police Department received a call reporting bomb threats to campus that necessitated the evacuation of four apartments and residence halls: Meadow Run, Arlington Hall, West Hall, and Arbor Oaks. The University is working with Arlington Fire and Rescue on the investigation.
UTA has instructed displaced students to report to the Maverick Activities Center. The rest of the campus is continuing normal operations. University officials continue to actively assess and investigate these threats."
UT Arlington police department is taking the lead in the investigation.
